Three Black Charities We Are Celebrating This Month

Black History Month blog header

is Black History Month. There are so many things to remember and learn from - and there are also lots of great lives, both present and past, to celebrate.

Through the month of February, we are going to be celebrating Black History through the charities we support, the black designers that we are cheering on, and the leadership heroes we love talking about.

To start with, we wanted to highlight three black charities that we support and cheer on, for very different reasons.

When you shop with us, after checkout, you are also offered the option to direct 10% of your purchase to the charity of your choice.  We wanted to give you some inspiration and ideas to put those purchases towards.

Here's three black charities that we are highlighting this month. They're focused on justice, sustainability and young black women in S.T.E.M. - and they are all part of a future that we want to help build .

Thanks for your support, for your time, and for being someone who wants to learn and grow.

Our choices matter. Every. Single. Day.

Wondering what charities and shoes have to do with each other?

Since Brave Soles was launched in 2017, our mission has been to inspire our customers and fans to love the power of their choices. We love fashion, and we believe that it can do good in so many ways.

In a world where you can shop anywhere for anything, at any moment in time, we are grateful that you consider making us part of those choices.

But more than that, our commitment to you - and ourselves - is to always make our priority to inspire people about the power of their choices.

Every month, through our partnership with GIVZ we highlight different charities that we feel are relevant to what we are focused on creating: a world that is inclusive, that celebrates good and that's willing to learn and grow.

Welcome to our world.
